Job Description

The candidate will be expected to mentor co-workers in new work methods and techniques.
Candidates must travel in teams or formations of two.
Candidate must drive a light specialty truck.
Candidate must load and unload goods.
Candidate needs to adjust brakes.
Candidates must be able to perform emergency roadside repairs.
The candidate will be responsible for pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections and monitoring all aspects of the vehicle.
Candidate is required to perform preventive maintenance.
Candidates are responsible for receiving and forwarding information to headquarters.
Candidates are responsible for recording cargo information, trip times, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring tarpaulin and cargo safety.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be fluent in English
Candidates must have a Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
Training will be provided to selected candidates.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license (Class 1 or A).
Candidates must be organized and flexible.
Candidates must have good judgment.
Candidates must be good team players.
Candidates must be diligent.
